Mansur Brown is a 24-year old multi-instrumentalist and producer from Brixton. His guitar work is particularly breath-taking, defining his idiosyncratic sound. He's just dropped two new tunes 'Serious' and 'Kerene'. He explains, 'Kerene' "is a song about the beauty in finding yourself and the strength within to confront your inner demons and how important it is to do that in order to grow and develop as a human being". 'Serious' particularly caught our attention, running around the fretboard with a springy movement, the guitar plucks have a harp-like quality. The production is dreamy, using distant echoes of synth and an off-kilter percussion to add a certain eeriness. Sub bass and an unusual electronic beat remould a classic hip-hop sound.
